Job Title: CHEF
Job Description:
Oversees the restaurant’s kitchen by managing other members of the food preparation team, deciding what dishes to serve, and adjusting orders to meet guests’ requests. May assist in prep work, such as chopping vegetables, but more often will be involved in cooking specialty dishes. Chooses ingredients and designs a menu based on the seasonal availability of food items. Creates unique dishes that inspire guests to come back again and again to see what is new in the restaurant.

Responsibilities of the Job:
- To order or purchases the foodstuffs.
- To examine the foodstuffs from suppliers to ensure quality.
- To design the menu, make the food and when other stuffs prepare food the Chef will observe the process till the finished dishes so that the quality of the food maintains.
- Employs food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff members do the same.
- Chefs will supervise, organise, and give instructions to other kitchen staff and will manage the whole kitchen or an area of the kitchen.
- Works quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings.
- Keeps up with trends in cooking and the restaurant business to ensure that guests have a positive experience.
- Takes direction and works with the restaurant’s administrative team.

Job Title: CHEF (TANDOORI)
VACANT: 1 POSITION

Job Description:
Tandoori chefs specialise in cooking with a tandoor, an Indian-style oven, using special sauces and spices. In addition to creating and preparing dishes, tandoori chefs must interact with restaurant staff and customer and need business skills to order supplies, establish budgets and set prices.

Responsibilities of the Job:
- Experience in cooking with a tandoor independently. Being able to prepare kebabs, breads as per the order.
- Able to cut and marinate meats and veggies.
- Able to make dough for different bread types – Naan, Roti, Missi roti, Bhatura, Roomali Roti, Laccha Paratha.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned orders.
